BDE: Hatomim Yisroel Yudkin, 23, HY”D

With great sadness we report the passing of Hatomim Yisroel Yudkin HY”D, as Lubavitcher from Kfar Chabad who was serving in Gaza as part of the IDF. He was killed during heavy fighting in the strip.

He was 23 years old.

The news was broken by the committee that oversees Kfar Chabad, announcing his passing.

Yisroel served as a company commander in the Netzach Yehudah battalion.

His grandfather, Rabbi Schneur Zalman Yudkin of Crown Heights, also passed away recently.

He is survived by his parents, R’ Tuvia and Tzipi Yudkin of Kfar Chabad, and his siblings.

The Levaya will take place Thursday, 12:00pm at the family’s home on Likuti Shihot Street in Kfar Chabad,
and burial will be on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem at 4:00pm.
