Funding Secured For Nine Story Building On Site Of Former Associated Supermarket

A nine story building located at 975 Nostrand Ave is now one more step ahead, after the owners, The Hudson Companies, secured $135 Million in funding for the new building.

According to New York Yimby, plans for the new building include 328 residential units, with 30 percent reserved for affordable housing, as well as a ground-floor grocery store and community facility.

The proposed building’s location is especially lucrative as it sits on the corner of Nostrand Ave and Empire Blvd, with Clove Road directly behind it. Clove Road is also in the works to become a pedestrian only walkway, potentially granting its future tenants an especially promising location.

At present, the project has a target completion date of fall 2025.
