Kinus Hashluchim 5784: Security Meeting Held As Kinus Gears Up
Last week, organizers of the International Conference of Chabad Shluchim met with representatives of various New York City law enforcement agencies in preparation for the largest annual Jewish gathering in the US, set for this weekend.
Led by Rabbi Mendel Kotlarsky, coordinator of the conference, the yearly meeting was productive, and both sides look forward to collaborating to ensure the Security and success of this year’s conference. Officials from the 71st and 77th precincts, Brooklyn South, the NYPD Counterterrorism Bureau, and the Mayor’s office were all represented at the meeting, which was held in the Jewish Children’s Museum conference room.
“We are tremendously grateful to the members of the New York Police Department for their help in ensuring the safety of the thousands of Shluchim and community leaders who will be coming to New York City for the Kinus,” said Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Chairman of The International Conference of Shluchim and Vice-Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch, “Security is always our greatest priority. We are here to ensure that everyone in attendance feels safe throughout the entire conference.”
