It’s a yearly tradition, and Erev Rosh Hashana leading up to 5784 was no different. A beautiful work of art depicting a shofar was completed by Chabad artist Yitzchak Moully in preparation for the new year.

“Continuing my yearly tradition of painting a Shofar piece just before RH, here is my latest creation – finished today – depicting the new light of 5784,” Moully said regarding his colorful new piece. “Today is the last day of the year, and tomorrow, Rosh Hashanah, G-D brings a new light to the world.”

Each year, after Chatzos on the day of Rosh Hashana, Moully pours his heart and soul into a Shofar painting, attempting to visualize the new energy of the upcoming year.

Last year, entering the Year if Hakhel, Moully challenged himself with a full month of Shofar artwork, completing twenty four throughout the month of Elul.

Moully’s artwork can now available online at Moullyart.com, where his completed painting for 5784 is available for purchase as an acrylic on Canvas 30x40in for $5,784.
