A 75 year old wheelchair bound Jew bumped into Rabbi Yitzchak Minkowitz, Shliach in Southwest Florida. Suffice it to say that the man, who was at the Jewish Federation Israel Event in Fort Myers, Florida, left only after having received a Bar Mitzvah.

The story goes that the Head of the Jewish Federation introduced Rabbi Minkowicz to the Jew in a wheelchair that lost his house due to the Hurricane and is presently living with his children. So naturally the First question is have you put on Teffilin today. The response was he had never put on Teffilin in his life. The Jew agreed to put on Teffilin at the Event in middle of the whole program in his wheelchair.
