INBOX: There Wasn’t Enough Room In 770, So They Closed It To Everyone Else

We can do much better!

How lucky we are to have Merkos 302 constantly leading by example.

This past week Merkos 302 has proven themselves once again with their unbelievable ability to continuously outdo themselves in carrying out the mission that the Rebbe gave each of us, to bring Moshiach now by reaching out to every Jew in the world and inspire them to observe the Torah and mitzvos.

Last week 3000 CTeens celebrated a Shabbaton in Crown Heights and davened in 770 on Friday night. Bringing even one teen to 770 for Shabbos is an unbelievable accomplishment. There are no words that can describe or thoughts that can possibly fathom how great of an accomplishment it is to bring three thousand teens to Beis Rabbeinu – The Beis Hamikdosh in Golus.

Every single person who was involved in this great endeavor, deserves to be recognized and applauded.

Maalin Bakodesh V’ein Moridin – In holy matters we must always increase and never decrease.

770 should have at least 3000 mekurovim visiting every single Shabbos of the year.

There are over 5000 shluchim today. Even if every shliach had only an average of 40 mekurovim, that’s 200,000 mekurovim who are already on the waiting list for a chance to visit 770 for Shabbos.

But how can they visit, if 770 has to close off the shul to all of the local and visiting Anash in order to accommodate 3000 mekurovim a week?

The waiting list is BH growing and the Rebbe doesn’t take excuses for an answer.

We must expand 770 already!

200,000 mekurovim are waiting for you to help make the expansion happen!

Take action now and join us in promoting and encouraging the expansion of 770.

Look in the mirror and ask yourself if you can do more in order to expand 770.

Talk to your friends and family, talk to people who you believe can do something about expansion. Voice your support of expansion through purchasing a yard sign, or writing an article, or posting a video. Visit Expand770.com and make a donation, sign the petition, learn and teach the kuntres Beis Rabbeinu Shebibavel, or join our other initiatives. But above all, make it your personal business to fulfill the Rebbe’s ratzon to expand 770.

With love,

Levik Jacobson

I wonder if they would ever dare to even suggest closing 770 before Gimmel Taamuz? Think about it!
