INBOX: Thank You Chidon!

Parents, lets stop and realize the good that the Chidon does for us and our children:

-The Chidon is the most educational – in school and after school – program for students. It helps to instill a love of learning Torah, and plays out all the Mitzvos in five clear books as they study together with their friends and compete in its gameshows.

-The Chidon is a great way to get young students excited and motivated about learning. It’s a program for students to engage in an educational environment.

-The Chidon this year is spending over $1 million dollars on the Program, Game show, prizes, and everything else. Name me one other kids program that does that?! They think of new ways each year to bring more kids to learn the Rambam, Kol Hatorah Kula. This knowledge is incredible.

-The Chidon is here for the kids, not for themselves. They make the kids feel accomplished and fulfilled through learning Rambam.

Parents, lets start realizing the good that Chidon does and the knowledge it gives our children. A full year of Chidon is $300. How much would you pay for a Chassidish educational program displaying all 613 Mitzvos and spending over $1 million dollars to encourage more children?! You might ask if it would be more wise not giving prizes for learning? NO, the Rebbe was all into prizes as a reward for what our children do good! It encourages them to learn more and more! I doubt there would be 7,000 kids if not for the Trips Prizes and gameshow! The tireless hours they put in is incredible.

Chidon, Thank you for all you are doing for the next generation of Yidden. THIS IS GOING TO BRING MOSHIACH AND MAKE THE REBBE PROUD!

And last but not least thank you Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum and the whole team for all the sleepless nights you put into Chidon to make it what it is today – a flourishing program to learn Rambam, the Rebbes Takana!

      There is only 6000 kids and most of them not paying 300. In addition the Chidon is “more then 1 million” use logic

    As a mother I know this program is all abt peer pressure.
    Most mothers just check off rhe boxes with most of the missions not done accurately only bec my friends are part of it and the thrill of going on the trip. Most of it is” bubemayses” and nonsense!!!!!
    IN MY HUMBLE OPINION ITS A WORTHLESS PROGRAM!!!
    It should be a curriculum in the schools with no hidden fees!

      You really have no good outlook at anything Tzivos Hashem does. You dont know the impact….
      If your kids cheat on missions why is that Tzivos Hashems Problem.
      why is it a worthless program? and then you say it should be part of the schools. Make up your mind.
      Your a kid that has no idea what chidon or Tzivos Hashem does

    I just wanna put it out there it is a great program but after speaking to some of the children this past year some of them did mention that it was there last year that’s the only reason why they continued on they really wish that they brought back the shabbaton experience
    All the other things could be bought but the SHABBATON was in experience of a lifetime
