BDE: Mrs. Henya Federman, 40, OBM
With great sadness we report the tragic passing of Mrs. Henya Federman OBM, the wife of Rabbi Asher Federman, with whom together they were on Shlichus in the Virgin Islands. She passed away on Wednesday, the 17th of Shvat, 5783.
She was 40 years old.
Henya, a much loved mother and Shlucha, was struggling in an intensive care facility since a tragic incident left her in a coma and took the life of her four month old daughter in November of 2022.
She is survived by her husband Asher, and their children Moussia, Mendel, Yitzchok Leib, Levi, Shneur, Chana, Feigel, Zelda Rochel, Yudel, Meir, Nechama, and Shaina.
The Levaya will take place Thursday, 1:30pm at the chapel, passing by 770 at approximately 2:30pm, and from there to the Beis Hachaim at 3:45pm.

Although I never met the nifteress, my daughters, fellow shluchos, knew her. I am so heartbroken for her beloved family, some of whom I do know. I don’t have any words, just a jumble of thoughts and tears for her husband and children. Baruch Dayan HaEmes.
