UPDATED: Chabad Shliach Stabbed In Boston

Rabbi Shlomo Noginsky, a Shliach in Boston Massachusetts was stabbed Thursday afternoon outside the “Shaloah House” on Chestnut Hill Avenue.

“We are aware that a stabbing occurred outside of the Hasidic Center in Brighton and that one person has been taken into custody,” the ADL tweeted.

According to local reports, the assailant was immediately arrested, while the victim was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Update: According to reports, Rabbi Noginsky had initially been entering his vehicle outside the Shaloah House when a person approached him with a weapon, demanding than he accompany him into Rabbi Noginsky’s vehicle. Rabbi Noginsky attempted to flee his attempted kidnapper by running across the street to a park, where his assailant caught up and stabbed him nine times in the arm.

Update: The Shliach’s name for Tehillim is Shlomo ben Zlata Miriam. He is listed in the hospital as in stable condition.
