Crown Heights City Council Candidate Tours the Library of Agudas Chassidei Chabad
Crown Heights City Council candidate Crystal Hudson visited the Library of Agudas Chassidei Chabad on Monday, and met with members of the Crown Heights Jewish community including Rabbi Berel Levine, head librarian.
Hudson was accompanied by Baila Olidort, Editor-in-Chief at Lubavitch News Service, Crown Heights businessman Shaya Gorden, and community activist Yaacov Behrman.
“I am so grateful for the recent tour I had of the largest and oldest private Jewish library, and to learn more about the history and wisdom of the Chabad community. As a Council Member, I will proudly continue to learn from and represent all of the diverse communities in our district, ensuring we all see an equitable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.” said Hudson.
Crystal Hudson is running against Michael Hollingsworth in the democratic primary on June 22nd. Hollingsworth is supported by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and has expressed his anti Israel views publicly.
