Young Israel Hosts Lecture on ‘Rav and Rebbe’

On Thursday, January 26, and Shabbos, January 28, Young Israel of Deerfield Beach, Florida, hosted Chabad author and lecturer Rabbi Chaim Dalfin. About 350 people attended both events, including such personalities as Rabbi Dr. Abraham Twerski, Rabbi Aaron Ziegler, retired army chaplain Col. Yaakov Goldstein and Rebbetzin Edelman of Springfield, MA.

The lectures were on Rabbi Dalfin’s recent book, Rav and Rebbe, now in its third printing.

These events were the first of a two-week book tour, which includes the Young Israel of Hollywood and the Boca Raton Synagogue. Rabbi Dalfin will also be the scholar in residence this coming weekend in Atlanta’s Toco shul, led by three PhD rabbis: Michael Broyde, Don Seeman and Michael Berger. Chabad’s Chevra Ahavas Yisrael Toco Shul will co-sponsor the weekend.
