Fathers and Sons Unite in Joyous Dancing

On Motzoei Shabbos, the students of Lubavitcher Yeshiva’s grades 3-5 gathered with their fathers and grandfathers for the annual Father & Son Melava Malka.

The evening started with the learning of a Sicha from the Rebbe about the importance of every Jewish child. Just like Shevet Levi, every child is counted, even from when he is very young, as an important part of Klal Yisroel.

Hatomim Yechiel Piekarsky led the recitation of the Rebbe’s Kapitel.

Rabbi Goldstein emceed the event, and shared a story of the Ba’al Shem Tov saving a Neshama. Rabbi Wircberg’s Kita Gimel class performed a beautiful Nigun that relates to the Neshama’s journey into this world, and the purpose of its being in Olam Hazeh.

Rabbi Chaim Fogelman enthralled the audience with some of his classic songs, as well as a beautiful song about a Shliach starting out on his Shlichus, followed by Simchas Adar dancing. An encore of dancing followed Birkas Hamazon.

May we merit dancing with the ultimate Simchas Hageulah!
