Photos: Menorah Lit Every Day in Moscow Shul
Every day of Chanukah following Mincha, the beautiful menorah in the Marina Roscha Chabad synagogue in Moscow, Russia – a replica of the Rebbe’s – was lit amid much fanfare.
The highly publicized daily lightings were attended by dozens of the city’s Jewish residents, as well as noted public figures and dignitaries, including the Israeli ambassador and consul to Russia.
The lightings were followed by joyous singing and dancing, and the distribution of latkes and doughnuts.
