Oholei Torah Teachers Receive Pesach Bonus

Oholei Torah melmadim, morahs and staff received a most generous show of appreciation just before Yom Tov. The vibrant leaders of the Oholei Torah PTA understand the hard word and dedication put in by the teachers and choose to show that appreciation.

The monetary gift, coming right before Pesach, was a most welcome surprise, but also, and even more so, showed that melamdim that they are important, and the work they do is appreciated. And as the PTA understands, when the melamdim and staff are happy, it directly benefits the talmidim, and that is the ultimate goal of the PTA.

Rabbi Joseph Rosenfeld, the schools executive director, said, he has no words of thanks to the energy and astonishing results the PTA have brought to Oholei Torah, and their devotion has most positive effects on all aspects of the moisad.

      Absolutely. Still waiting 20 years later for the fee the Board of Regents pays teachers to grade Regents. And how long are the teachers behind with their salary now?

      you should probably NOT work in Beis Rivkah then…. work as a cleaning lady to get paid! You should be thinking about the students’ benefit, and if you do not care, you do not belong there!! Some students’ parents can’t afford the tuition, and are allowed into this school, because otherwise they will have government issues! You guys are so rude!

    true No 7 and No 8…Us at BR never got bonuses EVER… WE d dont even have a functioning PTA The school is a reflection of the people that run the school….Devoted and caring administrators will trickle down to devoted and caring parents..As Rabbi Yosel Rosenfeld in OT…Cant say that for my school and the administrators in BR So sad

    And Thank you to the ENTIRE COMMUNITY that helped out by buying “ACHDUS BASKETS ”
    The money didn’t come from the school budget.
    It’s only thanks to the hard work of these women pictured.

    Bais Toras Menachem gave me a bonus. They decided to make a long awaited payment toward the $4500 in payroll they accrued over Summer and early fall. A Hannukah “Bonus” of $500 and again in February. But no payment for Pesach. Why do these institutions treat payroll like any other debt amazes me. They teach Shulchan Aruch, but they don’t practice it.

    Anyway, Kudos to Olei Torah.
