Former Soviet Acrobat Champion Teaches ULYOP
United Lubavitch Yeshiva of Ocean Parkway brought a professional trainer to create a second-to-none acrobatic team for the students. The yeshiva realized that students needed a good kosher outlet to strive and feel good about themselves. Returning to class from the gym, they feel empowered and more focused than ever before.
The skills are being taught to them by Amram Linkov, a chossid with a lifetime of acrobatic experience, including: performer for the National Association of State Circuses in the USSR, Qualified coach on sport acrobatics in Israel, Gold medal winner of National and International Competitions, member of Belarusian National Acrobatics Team and co-founder of The Israeli Circus School.
Not only are the students gaining unparalleled skills, they are also learning discipline, team work and respect as well.
Parents commented after last year’s program: “My son likes it very much, thank you for bringing this program to the yeshiva.” “I am so happy, this is exactly what my son needs.” “My son has another great thing to look forward to in his day B”H.”

Please check whether the Yeshiva has the appropriate additional insurance to cover injuries. This is not the normal gymnastics usually taught in public or private schools. It is potentially much more dangerous. A neck or back injury can cause permanent paralysis with the associated lifetime of medical costs.

The yeshiva does have an additional protective insurance. They got it last year before this program started. And the teacher is exceptionally good.

Positive and healthy outlet
Such a positive activity for frum kids to be able have an outlet. There are so many things are kids can be learning and excelling in, especially if they are not academically inclined and even if they are.

I think it so amazing that the yeshiva trys to hard to create outlets for our boys!

This is wonderful! It’s great for young people to have the chance to build their strength and balance and coordination. Hope this is the start of a growing trend!
