Miami Cops Pursue New Lead in Murder of Rabbi Raksin

Miami-Dade police say progress is being made in the case of Rabbi Yosef Raksin, HYD, a Crown Heights father-of-six who was shot and killed earlier this month in North Miami Beach while walking to Shul Shabbos morning, but that they are still seeking the public’s help in capturing the two suspected killers.

From Local 10 News:

Investigators are making progress in tracking down the gunman who shot and killed a rabbi in North Miami Beach.

Investigators said they’ve obtained home surveillance video that shows a man running from the scene shortly after the shooting.

Meanwhile, residents have stepped up security efforts in the area.

Some residents have even dug into their own pockets to pay for private patrols. Others have started an initiative to raise half a million dollars to install cameras on every block.
