Jews on the right, even if they’re not yet frum, have a sense of respect for that which is good and decent. They are proud Jews. Neither side is daas Torah, but they’re infinitely better than the left. It should be noted that a Lubavitcher Chossid, Reb Yisroel Janowski, worked tirelessly to bring the Jewish community to support the Conservatives based on their general beliefs and philosophy, at a time when many were stubbornly and mistakenly liberal/left.
