Camp Emunah Hires New Ruchnius Team for Jr. Division

Steadfast to its continued commitment to offering the most wholesome summer camp experience both b’gashmius and b’ruchnius, Camp Emunah B’nos Yaakov Yehudah has just announced the hiring of a new Ruchnius Team for its Jr. Division.

Rabbi Zalmen and Seema Friedman (of crown heights) have been selected to help infuse and enthuse the girls attending Camp Emunah with a fresh, positive and lovable approach to torah and mitzvos.

Extremely honored and excited to have officially joined the “Camp Emunah Family,” the new Ruchnius Team has already begun working hand in hand with Emunah’s directorship on ways to enhance camp from a ruchnius perspective.

“Of course, children come to camp to have a great time – and at Camp Emunah we believe that having the greatest time is when it is done in the proper manner,” said Rebbitzen Chave Hecht, Senior Director of Camp Emunah. “One cannot measure how much a child gains “b’ruchnius” from a summer spent at overnight camp… as the Rebbe pointed out during one of his talks to (graduates of Beis Rivka and) our Camp Staff – “The unique advantage of an overnight camp (as opposed to day camp) is that the children get to actually live what they learn…  implementing the lessons and directives into practice within a healthy ruchniusdik environment.”

“Today’s news is just the tip of the iceberg of what’s in store for Summer 5774!” said Rabbi Shmulie Hecht (VP Camp Emunah), and promised to share some more exciting additions at next week’s annual camp reunion.

Next Monday, Shushan Purim (March 17th), Camp Emunah will once again be hosting a private Ice Skating Session, to which all girls are welcome. For more info please call the office at 718.735.0225 (10am – 5pm) or email IceSkateReunion@gmail.com.
