Rabbi Aaron Rubashkin, founder of Agriprocessors and namesake of Aaron’s Best meat products, visited a Kosher poultry farm in Kiryas Yoel, NY, last week.
He toured the state-of-the-art facilities, and lent his expertise and years of experience in the meat and poultry business to the managers of the plant in the Satmar village.
Rabbi Aaron’s son, Sholom Mordechai, is currently serving a 27-year sentence in Federal prison after the Agriprocessors plant in Postville, Iowa was raided in 2008 and found to be employing foreign laborers. The unusually harsh sentence has raised accusations of Anti-Semitism, and has been universally condemned by legal experts around the country, including six former U.S. Attorneys General.

The beard nets are as much (if not moreso) to protect the worker from getting entangled in machinery. The de-feathering process involves spinning parts that do not differentiate between a bird and a person, R”L!

so chickens running in fecal matter is fine and feathers are fine but if a hair from a beard was near it that would be too much. try not be anti Semitic. the rebbe spoke highly of beards
