Cheder at the Ohel Brings Pre-Purim Joy to Elderly

Students from Cheder at the Ohel spent part of their day on Sunday drawing cards and packing mishloach manos for seniors in two local nursing homes.

On Monday, their visits to both the Orzac Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation in Valley Stream and the Garden Care Center in Franklin Square were both very well received by the residents.

At Orzac, sixth grader Baruch Shneor Kalmenson explained the Purim story to the residents.

All the boys sang Jewish songs and brought joy and gladness to the hearts of the residents.
