Girls’ Winter Retreat Leaves Lasting Friendships

Almost 100 girls enjoyed five days of fun, learning and inspiration at the Jewish Girls’ Retreat, a winter camp for young Jewish women in the New York State Capital Region under the leadership of Mrs. Nechama Laber of Chabad of Troy.

Founded in 2001 as a day camp and in 2004 as an overnight camp, the Jewish Girls’ Retreat has inspired countless young women of all ages and of all affiliations to reconnect with their Jewish heritage in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

“Where every Girl is Family!” is the retreat’s motto, and it sums up perfectly how the attendees – both campers and staff members – form lasting friendships and become like sisters.
