Online School Alumni Reunite

They say “Once an OS student, always an OS student.” The first ever alumni reunion proved just that! On Sunday, the Nigri International Shluchim Online School alumni students, from around the US, enjoyed an Online School reunion. Where was it held, you ask? Online, of course! While some students joined together in the Shluchim Office for this event, others logged in from their homes and dorms around the USA.

The reunion was themed “handwriting and you.” Miss Chani Blotner, a trained graphology expert, analyzed the girls’ handwriting based on their signature and forming of letters. She also taught the girls how they can be handwriting analysis experts themselves, by teaching them about different sizing, slant, and baselines.

The girls were amazed by the accuracy of the results, but also made sure to take what they heard seriously, so they can know what to improve and change.

The reunion ended off with an activity which showed the girls how it is NOT complicated to change, even though our minds tell us that it is. The girls discussed different ways to improve their Middos, such as through working in a supportive group setting, and through making goals with small steps.

We asked Mushkie Lipsker, the coordinator of the Online School Alumni, when there is another reunion coming up, she says real soon!

Thank you to all the Online School staff for all they do; Rabbi Shemtov, Mrs. Rosenfeld, Rabbi Goodman, Toby Herman, Chanale Weisz and all of the other staff who work tirelessly for the students of the Online School.
