Schottenstein Families Throw Support Behind Kol Menachem Tehillim

A new and exciting Tehillim is due to be published by Kol Menachem. It will bear the name of the Schottenstein families who have thrown their financial support behind the venture.

This Tehillim follows a list of recent successful and much sought after titles from the publisher, which include the Gutnick Chumash and the Slager Lifestyle Torah, the Slager Haggadah, Rambam and Megillah.

Speaking to CrownHeights.info Rabbi Chaim Miller explained how this Tehillim project began, “I found that people say lots of Tehillim and don’t find the words particularly meaningful or inspiring, so we started this project in hopes of changing that.”

The project began over a year ago with the support of Mr. Tovia Schottenstein and his wife Leah, along with their sons David and Aryeh. During a recent business trip, David was traveling with his father’s cousin Jay Schottenstein – known for his sponsorship of many Artscroll publications – and the conversation turned to the Tehillim project. When David pulled up a sample of the book on his smart phone and showed it to Jay, Jay was extremely impressed and asked if he could become a part of it as well. Now the project has joint sponsorship from Mr. Jay Schottenstein, his wife Jeanie and their sons Joey, Jonathan and Jeffrey, who are joining their cousins as equal partners in supporting the book.

This will be the first time Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein will be sponsoring a publication other then the Artscroll series.

With the recent engagement of Chana Schottenstein to Ari Marinovsky, we were told that there are hopes to have the new Tehillim published in time for the wedding.
