All B”H Safe as Grad Rockets Rain on Kiryat Gat

One day before the Tmimim of Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva Ketana in Kiryat Gat leave for Bein Hazmanim, the tranquil city was shaken by a barrage of Grad rockets shot from Gaza. B”H there were no reports of injuries or damages to property.

Rabbi Itzik Havlin, yeshiva administrator spoke with Shturem: “A few weeks ago we took part in a security exercise, and today we put to use what we practiced. The Tmimim of Yeshiva Ketana were at the homes of the Magidei Shiurim, farbrenging, and the Yeshiva Gedola went down to the shelter. The siren wasn’t heard inside the building, and Tmimim outside heard the siren and alerted the Tmimim.

The Tmimim in Yeshiva Gedola are scheduled to spend Shabbos in Yeshiva. At this posting, the plans remain unchanged.
