Hundreds of Bochurim Participate in Seder Limud and Panel
The hours leading into Yud Shevat – 60 Years found 1200 Temimim participating in a unique Panel on years of the Rebbe’s Nesius. Followed by a Seder Limud that was attended by 700 Bochurim, the Panel was explored the years and events by the Rebbe.
Rabbi Moshe Herson shared his recollections of the the period after the Frierdiker Rebbe’s histalkus and the Rebbe’s accepting the Nesius. Rabbi Yosef Minkowitz shared his memories from the 5720’s. Rabbi Yossi Lew gave over a fascinating overview of the 5730’s and early 5740’s. Rabbi Mendel Feller captivated the bochurim with his detailed description of the late 5740’s and early 5750’s. Rabbi Leima Wilhelm spoke passionately about the importance of our Hiskashrus to the Rebbe today and explained how it is imperative to heed the Rebbe’s instructions and learn the Rebbe’s Torah.
The Panel was expertly moderated by Rebbi Eliezer Zaklikovsky.
The Panel lasted for 2 hours followed by a 45 minute question and answer where bochurim submitted their questions to the Panel. A special momento was distributed to all participants – the new Kovetz Hashishim.
Later in the evening, a video of a Farbrengen with the Rebbe was shown in the Kollel.

Beautiful Event. I especially enjoyed Rabbi Minkowitz’s recollections of those wonderful and special years with the Rebbe. He gave us bochurim who were not lucky enough to remember the Rebbe or those who never even saw the Rebbe a glimpse into what it was like during those times. He gave it over in such a clear, interesting and uplifting manner. A Groisen yasher Koach!
