Beth Rivkah Montreal – Hakhel Alumni Reunion

The Rebbe’s call to make Hakhel gatherings even in the last moments of Hakhel, is the inspiration for a grand Alumni Reunion for anyone who attended Beth Rivkah of Montreal in any grade, and is now post- High School age (even Bubbies). The reunion will take place iy”h in BRM, 5001 Vezina, Sunday 24 Elul 5769/ September 13th 2009 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Hundreds of former students will spend an unforgettable afternoon of warmth, laughter and inspiration. They will mingle and reminisce with old friends and schoolmates, and enjoy exhibits of old Beth Rivkah photos, memorabilia, and class pictures by year.

Rabbi Yosef Minkowitz will greet everyone and there will be a tasty lunch with entertainment. A beautiful piece of jewellery, valued at $1000, (sponsored by Mrs. J. Gniwisch) and other prizes will be raffled off.
Rabbi Minkowitz, principal of the school for 36 years said: “Each student made a difference when she was in school, and now once again her participation will enhance the event for everyone. There is no such thing as an ex Beth Rivkah girl, because Beth Rivkah is a FAMILY, not just a school!”
