In honor of the Siyum Ha’Rambam and the beginning of the new cycle – for those who study three chapters daily, those who study one, as well as those who learn sefer Hamitzvos – and in honor of the 25th year of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s establishment of takanas limud ha’Rambam, Chabad.org has launched a new Rambam Section.

For The First Time Rambam in English Available on the Web

In honor of the Siyum Ha’Rambam and the beginning of the new cycle – for those who study three chapters daily, those who study one, as well as those who learn sefer Hamitzvos – and in honor of the 25th year of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s establishment of takanas limud ha’Rambam, Chabad.org has launched a new Rambam Section.

An exciting new feature that was unveiled is the text of Moznaim’s English Rambam (translated by Rabbi Eli Touger) which will also be available as part of Chabad.org’s Daily Study section in time for the new cycle which begins tomorrow, Thursday. This will be the first time that the English Rambam will be available on the Web. This is in addition to the Hebrew Rambam text, and Sichos in English’s audio shiurim already on the site.

The site also offers a new and improved English text of Sefer Hamitzvos for the Daily Study section, an overview of the Mishneh Torah and its uniqueness, a history and overview of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Takanah, a biography of the Rambam (courtesy of Merkos Publications), a picture slideshow of past siyumim, as well as pictures associated with the Rambam’s life and achievements, JEM videos of the Rebbe on Rambam, the takanah, and siyumim, and a study section.

Chabad.org will also broadcast live feeds from the siyum haRambam in Chicago as well as one from Midtown Manhattan.
