The Final Journey Gets Underway
ISRAEL — at this hour the final preparations are underway for the Israeli party that is heading for Mumbai, India to bring back the bodies of Rabbi Gavirel and his wife Rivkah Holtzberg, Rabbi Aryeh Leibush Teitelbaum, Rabbi Ben Tzion Korman, Norma Schwartzberg Rabinowitz and Yochved Orpaz who were murdered in the Chabad House.

The airplane is that of the Israeli Air Force, which was loaded up with Aron’s [burial caskets] in which the bodies will be returned, to a levaya which is expected to draw unprecedented crowds in Israel.
Rabbi Yitzchok Yehuda Yeruslavski, the mazkir of Bais Din Rabonai Chabad and uncle of the Shlucha Rivkah, is leading the delegation. The Bais Din is expected to release a special message to all Lubavitchers in Eretz Yisroel to come out and participate in the Levaya which is assumed to take place on Tuesday.
