The bochurim of the Yeshiva Summer Program in Morristown, NJ traveled to the Rebbe’s resting place in Queens, in honor of the Yahrtzeit of the Rebbe’s father. Returning to Brooklyn, they took a tour of the Aguch library in 770, hearing all about the life of Reb Levik, and seeing his Torah writings, which were smuggled out of the Soviet Union by his wife, Rebbetzin Chana.

The works that Reb Levik authored while in exile in a small village in Kazakhstan were written on the page margins of other Jewish books, due to the lack of paper. They were written with homemade ink of various colors, made of grasses and herbs by his dedicated wife.

Returning to New Jersey, the Bochurim visited the Chabad Synagogue in Tenefly, NJ, where they farbrenged with Shliach Rabbi Mordechai Shain.
