Multi Car Crash In Crown Heights After BMW Runs Red

A grey BMW driving down Crown Street ran a red Friday morning, causing a multi car crash.

According to witnesses, the BMW had ran the red light at the corner of Crown Street and Schenectady Ave and hit a white minivan. The minivan was then sent careening into a parked car and causing its airbags to deploy.

Both the NYPD and EMS were dispatched to the scene. Hatzalah’s assistance was not needed.

The crash initially caused traffic but the intersection was clear by 9:40am.
