More Details, Driver Charged, in Sunday Morning’s Fatal Wreck on Eastern Parkway

A teen driver who caused a fatal wreck on Eastern Parkway Sunday morning has been charged, and according to reports, he was running from the police.

As previously reported on Crownheights.info, one person was killed in the two car wreck on Eastern Parkway near Rogers Ave, that took place around 2:00am and caused at least four others injuries.

Driving the vehicle speeding away from the cops was Ackeem Chambers aged 18.

The person who died has been identified as an eighteen year-old Jada Rollins, who had been a passenger in the rear of Chambers’s vehicle.

The other victims of the crash were transported to local hospitals, where they were reported as being in stable condition.

Chambers has now been charged with vehicular manslaughter, vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, failure to yield to traffic signals and failure to obey a traffic signal, according to he police.
