Five-Car Crash on Albany Avenue Injures Four

Five vehicles were involved in a ‘chain-reaction’ collision on Albany Avenue this morning. Four people were injured in the accident, including two children.

The crash occurred at around 8:00am between Montgomery Street and Empire blvd. According to eyewitnesses, one car stopped short and the four other vehicles then crashed into each other.

Hatzalah was called to check out some of the injured passengers, while FDNY EMS and another city ambulance crews checked out the rest. Two children from one car were transported to area hospitals, along with two adults from other cars.

Although there was a Jewish family involved in the crash, they refused medical attention and Hatzalah assisted EMS with transporting non-Jewish victims instead.
