11-Year-Old Hit by Car, Critically Injured
An 11-year-old boy is in critical condition and fighting for his life after he was hit by a car. Police officers witnessed the crash and called EMS and Shomrim after they were unable to determine the victim’s identity. Please say tehillim for Menachem Yisroel ben Henya Chasiba.
The crash occurred at around 4:45pm near the intersection of Rochester Avenue and Union Street. Police officers on foot patrol witnessed the boy attempt to cross the street and a car strike the boy, knocking him to the ground. The boy immediately lost consciousness and police were unable to determine his identity.
After calling for EMS police called Shomrim to act as a guardian for the child and to attempt to identify the child.
One Shomrim Volunteer stayed with the boy during the transport to Kings County Hospital while a number of others went door to door in hopes of locating the boy’s parents.
Some twenty minutes after the accident Shomrim managed to locate the parents and bring them to the hospital.
The boy is currently listed in critical condition and the public is asked to please say Tehillim for Menachem Yisroel ben Henya Chasiba, may he merit a complete and speedy recovery.

Update from the other as of 10;14 this morning.
All of your teffilos are helping Menachem,and Hashem has done miracles! Menachem is in stable condition and close to breathing on his own! Keep on dawening!
