Violent Car Crash Injures Drivers

A violent collision between two vehicles left both drivers hurt and the President Street intersection covered in debris and closed off for over an hour.

The accident occurred Sunday at around  4:30pm in the intersection of President Street and Schenectady Avenue. Two sedans, a Toyota and Nissan, collided mid-intersection after one of them blew through a red light. The two cars smashed up against each other, sending one of the cars onto the sidewalk and into a garden wall.

EMS responded to the incident and treated both drivers at the scene, then transported them to area hospitals.

Did you know that Japanese cars are made from scrap metal purchased from America? They melt it down, roll it as thin as they can, and stamp out body panels for new Nissans and Toyotas. What they don’t make out of metal, the use plastic.

Give me a 1973 Chevy Impala any time.
