Major Single Vehicle Accident on Eastern Parkway
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A single vehicle accident caused a significant amount of damage this afternoon when the driver lost control and smashed into a tree, a light pole, all while just missing other vehicles.
The incident took place on Eastern Parkway near the intersection of Albany Avenue at around 3:00pm. The van, an ambulette service, was empty aside from the driver, who did not sustain any serious injuries. The van though sustained a stunning amount of damage, from losing a tire in the front, to an entire axle in the rear.
Hatzalah was called and treated the driver, who was not Jewish, for his injuries and then transported him to a local hospital.

no way!!! this guy backed up into my car and dented my bumper badly when my wife was sitting in the car waiting for me, she couldnt see his license plate so she called me (i was in the store)and we chased him as he sped off but he managed to give us the slip. i guess he got what he deserves……
