Bochur Struck and Injured in Hit-n-Run Crash

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Just as rain began coming down again this evening, a 13-year-old Bochur, who was crossing at the intersection of Kingston and Empire at around 9:00pm, was struck and lightly hurt by an SUV who tore through a red light, struck the crossing pedestrian, and fled the scene without stopping for even a moment.

Another motorist in a vehicle behind the SUV witnessed what happened, and immediately called Hatzalah, Shomrim who responded and arrived on scene within moments of the incident.

There was no luck in tracking down the fleeing vehicle, and BH the victim did not sustain any serious or life threatening injuries, Hatzalah treated him at the scene.
