Early Morning Accident on Empire and Troy
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — An early morning collision between a Car Service and a delivery vehicle sent both drivers to the hospital. The incident took place a few feet from the intersection of Empire Boulevard and Troy Avenue at around 4:30am.

From the position of the cars it appeared that one of the vehicles attempted to make a u-turn and collided with the second car. Police had shut down the stretch of empire from Schenectady to Troy for a short period until the vehicles were removed from the scene.
A patrolling Shomrim member who was nearby and heard the sound of the crash arrived on scene and immediately alerted emergency and rescue personal. The injured were transported to a local hospital by FDNY EMT’s for checkups and observation.
