All 20 Living Hostages Released From Hamas Captivity, Trump Addresses Israeli Parliament

After 738 days in captivity, the final 20 living hostages have all returned to Israel. The handover, done flawlessly with the International Red Cross as an intermediary, was performed without fanfare.

The bodies of the remaining 28 dead hostages are also expected to be handed over as part of the deal, although the exact timing remained unclear.

Following earlier reports that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would travel to Sharm El-Sheikh to take part in today’s peace summit with world leaders, the Prime Minister’s Office has announced that he will not attend due to the Shemini Atzeres–Simchas Torah holiday beginning tonight.

President Trump addressed the Knesset today and declared that “This was not only the end of the war, but of the age of terrorism and of the beginning of the age of peace and of God.”

MKs Ayman Odeh and Ofer Cassif were expelled from the plenum during the speech for breaching the Knesset protocols.
