7th Graders Start Chanukah with a Blast
Rabbi Turk’s Seventh grade class at United Lubavitcher Yeshiva got off to a great start this Chanukah, with an amazing night of mivtzoim in Manhattan.
Their success has been amazing! About 200 Menorah sets, hundreds of aditional dreidels and Chanukah gelt were distributed to passers-by.
The spirit was electrfying. People danced. People cried. Everyone was so excited to see a Mitzvah Tank and celebrate Chanukah with the chabad boys. Many of the people expressed their thanks as they were away from family and thus celebrated with the boys.
The students were accompanied by the exceptional madrichim Zev Gajer and Shmulik Zilberman.
The students arranged this all on their own, of course with the outstanding help of Mitzvah Tank Org. They plan on continuing their mivtzoim activities throughout Chanukah.
