Video: Chitrik Academy Gives Students a Head Start

In the less than one year since it was founded, the online Chitrik Academy has changed the way Gemara and Mishnayos are being learned. With over 80 videos, it has garnered an audience from over 60 countries around the world.

Parents, teachers, principals, homeschoolers and students love the simple, easy to follow classes on the topics learned in elementary school.

Using the Khan Academy model, the lessons are given on a blackboard, and use lots of images and color to capture the audience’s attention. Because they are recorded videos, the user can pause, rewind and learn at their own pace – wherever they please.

With the easy-to-use website and YouTube page, students can study or prepare for their next lesson.

The Chitrik Academy was created in memory of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Chitrik, OBM, and is free to use.
