    While it may be in jest, its a lack of derech eretz. It is pathetic how in Lubavitch there is a blatant lack of respect for rabbanim. Shame shame shame.

    The Rabbi has a sense of humor, this was pretty funny and I think he can take it with a laugh.

    i am a fan of kravitsky and he’s got alot of potential. he is young and finding his way and i believe he will outgrow some of his amateur gigs, like this one, or the one using the shluchim as the butt of his joke.

    i predict we will this less of this kind of lazy humor from Kravitsky as he matures as a comedian. i look forward to more of his genuinely funny stuff.
    PS the greatest comedians make fun of themselves, or their own society. the hacks go after individuals and stereotyping others.

    It makes no difference if Rabbi Manis has a sense of humor, on Kravitsky’s part it should not be done. In no other part of the frum or even modern orthodox world would this be tolerated. It is a true machlah that in lubavitch people have absolutely no respect for our rabbanim.
