Showing my age. I attended Lag B’Omer parades since the late 50’s. Salami sandwhiches, a lot of standing and walking, but so much fun. How far the parades have come in grandeur and creativity.
But the Rebbe’s Hadras Panim and his smiling and waving at every child cannot be replicated. That was majestic.
B”H the parade lives on and enhances the lives of all the CH school kids working on floats and the children (and adults) who attend from all accross the tri-state area.
