Together with the governor of California Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger, comic Ilan Gold, actor Jon Voight, members of the United States armed services and representatives that fought the massive wildfires in California.
Despite a steady rain fall a crowd gathered to watch the event, which included a live satellite link between an army base in Iraq where Jewish service members gathered and lit the menorah as well as to Afghanistan.
