Orange Chabad Hosts ‘Shakshukah in the Sukkah’

Chabad of Orange County, directed by Rabbi Pesach and Chana Burston, held a community “Shakshukah in the Sukkah” at the Burston home in Monroe, New York.  The event featured a gourmet Israeli Breakfast spread, a dynamic fire show, and enabled more than 100 people to partake in the mitzvos of Sukkos.

The fire show was connected to Sukkos, as “Sukkot commemorates the miraculous clouds of Glory and pillar of fire which protected the Jewish nation as they journeyed in the desert from Egypt to Israel.”

After the party some of the young shluchim went to the homes of the some of elderly who could not attend so they can do the mitzvah.
