Magnificent New Mikvah Dedicated in Moscow
On Tuesday, Purim Katan, a beautiful new, state-of-the-art women’s Mikvah was dedicated in Moscow, Russia.
Present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony was the chief rabbi of Russia, Rabbi Berel Lazar, as well as the chief rabbi of Tzfas, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu – who arrived to mark the 25th anniversary of a visit to Moscow during the collapse of the USSR by his father, then chief Sephardic rabbi of Israel Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, OBM.
The new Mikvah is located on the campus of Machon Chomesh, a seminary for young Jewish woman.
