‘EnerJew’ in Former USSR Continues to Surprise

The rapidly developing Jewish youth moment ‘EnerJew,’ now active in 16 locations throughout the Former Soviet Union, continues in its mission to create a promising and committed future generation of proud Jewish leaders. Lately a series of seminars and Shabbatonim took place in some of FSU’s major cities.

In Rostov on Don, Russia and Tbilisi, Georgia – two of EnerJew’s leading branches, special and lively Shabbatonim took place throughout January in a surprising new format, combining fun and amusement alongside fascinating lectures and classes. In addition, the participants enjoyed professional mentoring from the EnerJew’s highly qualified staff.

In Moscow, the capital city of Russia, a special coordinators seminar took place last week, with representatives from all the movement’s cities, administration, mentors, young rabbis and special guest dignatories. The Seminar focused on creating plans for the activities during 2015 with a special additional focus on the upcoming festivals.
