Video: Burned Chabad House Menorah Replaced
A Chabad House menorah that was destroyed by fire last week on Ocean Parkway has been replaced. Elected officials joined the local Shluchim outside Chabad-Lubavitch of Kensington to watch the new menorah’s installment.
Police confirmed that the fire outside the synagogue does not appear to be a hate crime. They believe it was a careless incident involving a discarded cigarette. However, he NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is still investigating the incident.
