Chabad Seder Featured on WSJ Front Cover

The worlds largest Pesach Seder takes place in Katmandu, Nepal and draws thousands is hosted by Rabbi Chezki and Chani Lifshitz, Shluchim to Nepal. Their Seder was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal with a photo of Chani lighting candles along with other women. The photo appeared in the Journals March 26th issue.

The photo was captioned: “PASSOVER FOR ALL: In Katmandu, Nepal, people from across Asia gathered Monday to celebrate the Seder commemorating Jews’ liberation from slavery in Egypt. Israeli women helped light candles spelling out ‘Happy Holiday’ at the event, which organizers said was the worlds biggest.”
