CAMBRIA HEIGHTS, NY [CHI] — Running for his third term Mr. Jean Lachaud, who is the French elected representative for the east coast, visited the Ohel with Rabbi Mikhael Cohen, Founder and Executive Director of Jewish French Community Center of New York, where he asked the Rebbe a blessing for the coming election on June 7th 2009.

CAMBRIA HEIGHTS, NY [CHI] — Running for his third term Mr. Jean Lachaud, who is the French elected representative for the east coast, visited the Ohel with Rabbi Mikhael Cohen, Founder and Executive Director of Jewish French Community Center of New York, where he asked the Rebbe a blessing for the coming election on June 7th 2009.
Mr. Lachaud is a member of The Assembly for French Expatriates which represents the French citizens living abroad. Its members are entrusted with the task of helping its citizens and defending their rights and interests – especially as regards social protection, security, study grants, employment and vocational training – when dealing with public services.
