Chabad on Campus Shabbaton’s Melava Malka
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — After a Shabbos jam-packed with Farbrengen’s and inspiration the students were treated to a Melava Malka with a live and lively performance by ‘YOOD Power Rock Trio’ kept everyone on their feet and danced into the night to hyper charged Nigunim and Jewish music.
Many more pictures and a video in the Extended Article!
More than 800 Jewish college students and recent alumni from across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom gathered in Crown Heights, for a unique cultural immersion that has become the highlight of social calendars at scores of campuses. A mix between inspirational discussions, spiritual explorations and good, old-fashioned Shabbat foods like gefilte fish, this year’s seventh annual Chabad on Campus International Shabbaton and Conference drew delegations from more than 100 universities.
Following the melava malke the crowd eased into a Farbrengen with Rabbi Shmuli Posner, Shliach to Boston University, who gripped the crowd into the early hours of the morning.
